Echoes

Were curled up solitarily

And resembled each letter of isolation


Death that came to you

Is the snow that falls in a deserted island

Within me

The sea 

Echoed my voice  Please tell them

Is it not cold?

Is it not cold?

木霊

暁方ミセイ

さみしげにまるまって

孤独という文字のそれぞれに似ていた


きみに訪れた死は

わたしのなか

無人島に降る雪だ

海は

わたしの声だったこと 伝えてね

寒くないのかな

Misei Akegata was born in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. Currently she lives in Saitama prefecture.

In 2012, she was awarded 17th Chuya Nakahara Prize for Virus, 9th Ayukawa Nobuo Prize for The Magic Hill, and 29th Miyazaki Kenji Shorei Prize for Purple Cloudy Weather, Sniffing Iwate Walking Poetry.

1988年、神奈川県生まれ。埼玉県在住。

2012年、『ウイルスちゃん』で第17回中原中也賞、2018年『魔法の丘』で第9回鮎川信夫賞、2019年『紫雲天気、嗅ぎ回る 岩手歩行詩篇』で第29回宮沢賢治奨励賞受賞。
